We are looking for experienced part-time English teachers to join our growing academic team. This is a year-round teaching opportunity, with classes available during both the school year and summer.
Position Overview
We are seeking passionate English teachers with experience teaching elementary/middle school and/or high school English.
This role includes teaching both small-group classes and one-on-one lessons, adapting instruction to students' individual learning needs, and creating an engaging learning environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Teach middle school and high school English in both small-group and one-on-one settings.
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons.
- Assess students' academic levels and adapt instruction accordingly.
- Select or modify instructional materials based on students' learning needs.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents when needed.
- Collaborate with the academic team to maintain high instructional quality.
QualificationsRequired
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of English teaching experience with middle school and/or high school students.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to adapt lessons for students with different learning levels.
- Passion for teaching and helping students grow.
Preferred
- Experience teaching English Language Arts (ELA), academic writing, literature, or reading comprehension.
- Experience teaching in schools, learning centers, tutoring programs, or similar educational settings.
Schedule
Applicants should be available to teach:
- At least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday); availability on both days is preferred.
- This is a year-round teaching opportunity, including both the school year and summer.
Teaching schedules are based on student enrollment, with additional teaching opportunities available as demand grows.
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
