Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Fine Dining Server to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional service to our guests in a high-end dining environment. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that each guest has a memorable dining experience through attentive service, extensive menu knowledge, and a commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Greet and escort guests to their tables, presenting menus and explaining daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Clover Flex System.
- Provide recommendations on food pairings and menu items based on guest preferences.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our fine dining standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any needs or concerns promptly.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately and efficiently at the end of service.
Skills
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of food preparation and handling practices within a restaurant setting.
- Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in fine dining or upscale restaurants, is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
