Duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by regularly cleaning dining areas, kitchen surfaces, and restrooms to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
- Assist with bussing tables efficiently, clearing dishes and resetting tables promptly to prepare for new guests.
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, food items, and equipment following safe lifting practices.
- Support food service operations by serving food and beverages to customers with a friendly attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Set up tables with appropriate tableware, linens, and condiments to ensure a polished presentation for guests.
- Communicate effectively with team members using internal communication tools to coordinate tasks smoothly.
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to maintain compliance with health regulations and ensure guest safety.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of sanitation, cleaning procedures, and food safety standards within the food industry.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while adhering to safe lifting practices.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
- Experience in serving, bussing, and setting tables in a fast-paced setting is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
- Basic understanding of internal communication tools used in restaurant operations.
