The Astor.
The Astor is a downtown tavern for the public, where dining, drinking, and performance come together under one roof. Honoring The Public Theater's storied legacy and wrapped in an old New York charm, it pairs Chef Andrew Carmellini's kitchen with a refined classic cocktail program. Designed by Serge Becker, the space builds on a nearly three-decade creative partnership between NoHo Hospitality and The Public Theater that began with the opening of Joe's Pub in 1998.
Ideal candidates possess:
- Warmth and graciousness; The ability to function highly in a busy environment.
- Full responsibility for food and beverage knowledge; Micros POS experience a plus.
- Great communication skills.
- Ability to manage a large and busy section in a popular restaurant.
- Create stellar guest experiences.
- Well-versed in and able to sell our list of wine and spirits.
