Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, polishing, and maintaining various flooring surfaces to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal.
- Assist with general facilities maintenance including minor repairs, light painting projects, and ensuring equipment is in good working order.
- Support industrial cleaning tasks when needed, including cleaning large areas or specialized equipment in manufacturing or warehouse settings.
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, lobbies, and outdoor spaces to create a welcoming environment.
- Support custodial operations by restocking supplies and ensuring cleaning tools are properly maintained.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning protocols meet health and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in janitorial services, custodial work, or facilities maintenance is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and floor care procedures such as buffing and polishing.
- Experience with industrial cleaning or residential painting is a plus.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery.
