Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Portfolio Servicing Specialist to manage and resolve past-due business loan accounts. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a solid understanding of loan servicing, and the ability to work with business owners to find practical repayment solutions while protecting company interests.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the company’s funding portfolio
- Proficient in CRM and loan servicing platforms for updating loan records, documenting borrower interactions and tracking collection activity,
- Contact business owners via phone, email, and written correspondence to collect past-due payments
- Review loan agreements, payment histories, and account documentation
- Monitor accounts for compliance with agreed payment plans
- Accurately document all collection activity in the loan management system
- Escalate accounts when necessary for legal action or third-party collections
- Ability to work with senior leadership
Qualifications
- 1–3+ years of experience in loan collections, credit & collections, or financial services
- Experience with small business or commercial loans preferred
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Professional, respectful communication style
- Ability to handle difficult conversations while maintaining positive client relationships
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skill
- Experience working with financial data and loan documentation
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
