Patterson Custom Diesel in Colorado Springs is hiring! Very busy shop, pay is very competitive and will be based on experience and training level. Our techs average 80-120k + a year! Very clean shop, specialize on, Ford, GM and Dodge/Ram Light and Medium Duty diesel, bumper to bumper repairs and maintenance. Full tools and references are required, bring any certifications in if interviewed. Position Qualifications
- We are looking for a diesel engine mechanic with at least 4 years of experience.
- Ideal candidates will have 4+ years of experience working with numerous name brands and Light-Duty engines like Cummins, Power Stroke, Duramax, etc.
- In-depth understanding of diesel engine technology is required.
- Ability to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues on diesel engines
- Ability to inspect vehicles and recommend proper preventive maintenance and repairs
- Hydraulics and electronics background
- Heavy front end, suspension, and brakes experience required
- Welding experience / fabrication
- Computer and diagnostic scan tool literacy
- Proficient time management required to complete tasks
- Good ethics and integrity with a high attention to detail
- Must have clean Driving Record

Responsibilities
- Inspect and diagnose diesel engine and vehicle systems; perform necessary repairs or replacements to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections, tune-ups, and component lubrication; manage service intervals and document findings.
- Repair or fabricate components using mechanical fabrication, and address fuel, hydraulic, and cooling system issues; test for proper operation.
- Inspect and service suspension, braking, and electrical systems; perform alignment checks and vehicle inspections as required.
- Manage parts, tools, and time effectively to meet deadlines; adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 50 per week
