Posted Position: We are seeking an experienced Equipment Installation Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for a hands-on professional with a strong mechanical aptitude and previous experience working on the road. The successful candidate will travel to customer locations to install, assemble, test, and troubleshoot equipment while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
· Travel to customer sites to install and commission equipment.
· Read and interpret installation drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
· Assemble, inspect, and test equipment to ensure proper operation.
· Perform equipment startup, calibration, and operational verification.
· Troubleshoot and resolve installation and equipment issues in the field.
· Train customers on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
· Complete installation reports, service documentation, and expense records.
· Follow all company safety policies and customer site requirements.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 2 years of experience installing, servicing, or maintaining industrial or mechanical equipment.
· Previous experience in a road-based or travel-intensive position.
· Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
· Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
· Ability to travel extensively and stay overnight as needed.
· Strong communication and customer service skills.
