8) Resolves scheduling conflicts to ensure safe pool environment when competing
programs/priorities require use of aquatic facilities.
9) Responsible for upholding Cabot Parks and Recreation policies and procedures, as well
as ordinances set forth by the City of Cabot.
10) Provide customer service to patrons, including handling customer problems and
complaints.
11) Performs any other related duties as required or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
1) At least 15 years of age.
2) Must be able to work variable shifts, evenings & weekends.
3) Must hold a current American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification with a waterpark
supplement.
4) Ability to supervise children, youth, and adults.
Additional Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities Needed:
1) Ability to understand, follow, and carry out oral and written instructions.
2) Some knowledge of the methods, materials, practices, techniques, and equipment needed
to operate a concession facility and an entrance gate.
3) Ability to deal courteously with the public and employees; ability to execute sound
judgment.
4) Attendance at work and the ability to get along with the public, commission, supervisors,
and co-workers are essential elements of this position.
5) Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to
person and small group situations with customers, clients, the general public, and other
employees of the organization.
