KYU is looking for a reliable and dedicated Porter to join our team. As a Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, supporting both the front-of-house and back-of-house operations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling various tasks to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
Responsibilities

Clean and maintain all areas of the restaurant, including the dining area, restrooms, kitchen, and service areas.

Handle trash and waste management, ensuring proper disposal and recycling practices.

Assist in organizing and restocking supplies as needed.

Support the kitchen and service staff by performing tasks such as delivering supplies and cleaning dishes.

Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.

Ensure that all cleaning and sanitation procedures are followed according to health and safety regulations.

Assist with setting up and breaking down the restaurant for service.

Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant.

Respond to any cleaning requests from the management or staff promptly.

Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Qualifications

Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
