Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Advanced Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide expert clinical care across diverse settings, including primary care, acute care, behavioral health, and specialty services. The ideal candidate will be a proactive healthcare professional committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care while collaborating seamlessly with our healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories across various clinical environments.
- Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with collaborative practice agreements and state regulations, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and DEA guidelines.
- Manage complex cases involving chronic conditions like diabetes, hypertension, geriatrics and pediatrics.
- Utilize EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical documentation and medical records management.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives and quality improvement projects to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery.
Experience
- Demonstrated expertise in managing acute pain, chronic illnesses, and telehealth services.
- Strong background in medical office operations.
- Knowledge of CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding standards for accurate billing and documentation.
- Experience working with special populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs.
