We are partnering with a client seeking a strong Senior GL Accountant for a temporary, fully remote engagement. This opportunity is expected to start as a 1-month assignment, with potential for extension based on business needs.
The primary focus of this role will be supporting balance sheet reconciliations and payroll-related liability accounts leading into the client’s fiscal year-end close.
Prepare and clean up balance sheet reconciliations
Reconcile payroll-related liability accounts, including:
Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
Identify and resolve outstanding GL reconciliation issues
Work heavily within Excel to organize, analyze, and reconcile financial data
Fully remote opportunity
Target start date: Mid-June
Initial duration: Approximately 1 month, with potential for extension following a mid-July evaluation
Pay rate: $45-50/hour
Strong general ledger and reconciliation experience
Experience supporting month-end and year-end close
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cleanup-focused environment
Advanced Excel skills preferred
Prior payroll liability reconciliation experience strongly preferred
