Job Overview
We are seeking two compassionate and energetic Caregivers to provide dedicated support and assistance to our seniors over the age of 62. In this vital role, you will foster a safe, nurturing environment that promotes, socially and physically while ensuring their daily needs are met with kindness and professionalism. Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care to 15 seniors ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
- Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing and medication administration
- Maintain a clean and organized environment that adheres to health and safety standards
- Communicate regularly with staff management re: any changes in resident
- Hiring Evenings and Overnight Positions
Requirements
- Prior experience working with the elderly in nursing homes or hospital setting
- Certification in first aid, CPR and Medication Technician a plus but not required
- Understanding of behavior management techniques dealing with residents that have dementia
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively
