Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Permanent Light Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various lighting systems across multiple sites. Your expertise will ensure that lighting solutions are safely and efficiently deployed, enhancing safety and aesthetics for our clients. Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot lighting fixtures and systems according to project specifications and schematics
- Use hand tools and specialized equipment to perform precise installations and repairs
- Conduct routine maintenance on existing lighting installations to ensure optimal performance
- Diagnose electrical issues related to low voltage systems and implement effective solutions
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams for accurate installation and repair
- Perform equipment repairs, including replacing faulty components and testing circuits with tools such as ohmmeters
- Collaborate with service technicians to address complex system issues involving computer hardware or networking components when applicable
Experience
- Proven experience in field service roles, particularly in lighting installation or electrical maintenance
- Familiarity with hand tools, electrical schematics, and equipment repair techniques
- Service technician experience preferred, demonstrating ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems effectively
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment maintenance and repair is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments while adhering to safety standards
