Duties:
-Must be able to work in a very busy environment
-Heavy phones and answer message in a timely manner
- Perform medical administrative support tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and billing.
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Administer medications and vaccines as directed by healthcare providers.
- Provide patient education on medical conditions, treatment plans, and medication instructions.
- Collect and process lab specimens.
-Perform medical administrative support tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, faxes and billing.
Requirements:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and coding.
- Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
- Experience with electronic health records (E-clincal is a plus) systems.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Must be a team player
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
