Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) transactions to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage inventory control, including stock replenishment, merchandising, pricing strategies, and purchasing to optimize product availability and presentation.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business.
- Implement marketing initiatives within the boutique to boost sales and increase brand visibility through promotional events and visual merchandising.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and store procedures while fostering a positive team environment focused on collaboration and excellence.
Experience
- Proven management experience in retail sales or boutique environments with a strong track record of supervising teams effectively.
- Demonstrated proficiency in inventory management, POS systems, cash handling, and retail math for accurate sales tracking and reporting.
- Prior experience in recruiting, training & development, payroll administration, bookkeeping or related administrative functions is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques, marketing strategies, and pricing policies that drive sales growth.
- Leadership qualities including negotiation skills, team management expertise, time management proficiency, and the ability to motivate others toward shared goals.
