About the Role
We are a specialty tennis retail store with over 20 years in the market, focused on tennis and racquet sports, including padel and pickleball. We are looking for a Part-Time Sales Associate / Stringer to join our South Miami location.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role that combines retail sales with racquet stringing and basic racquet services. No prior stringing experience is required. Full training will be provided. You will work directly with players of all levels, helping them choose equipment and maintaining their racquets to store standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with tennis, padel, and pickleball racquets, shoes, apparel, and accessories
- Perform racquet stringing services accurately and consistently after training
- Receive and process stringing orders, including string selection, tension, and turnaround times
- Explain basic differences between strings, tensions, and setups to customers once trained
- Process sales accurately at the point of sale
- Keep the stringing area, machines, and sales floor clean and organized
- Support daily store operations as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Part-time availability, including weekdays and weekends
- No prior stringing experience required. Training will be provided
- Prior retail, customer service, or stringing experience is a plus, but not required
- Comfort working with customers throughout the day
- Reliable and consistent attendance
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn technical skills
- Interest in tennis or racquet sports is preferred
- Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required (Spanish or Portuguese)
