American Traveler is hiring a RN - Med/Surg Tele for a night shift position requiring 2+ years of experience and NC/compact RN licensure.

MS/Tele unit within a hospital setting
-
Primarily Med/Surg patient population on a telemetry-capable unit
-
Patient ratio of 1:6
-
Patient types include observation, respiratory conditions, general medical surgical diagnoses, palliative/end of life/hospice, psychiatric observation, diabetes management, and surgical/surgical observation patients
-
Night shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
-
Every other weekend required
-
Holiday coverage as needed
-
Floating required across all facility campuses as needed
-
EPIC EMR experience required
-
Active RN license (NC or Compact) required and must be in hand at time of consideration
-
BLS certification required
-
ACLS and NIHSS certifications preferred
-
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
-
EPIC charting system experience required
-
Previous Charge RN experience preferred
-
LTAC experience preferred
-
Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during onboarding (two attempts allowed)

Skills in respiratory care, IV therapy, cardiac monitoring, wound care, and renal management preferred
-
Current driver's license required to verify address
-
Provide direct patient care across a range of medical-surgical and telemetry conditions
-
Responsibilities include cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and emergency response coordination with Rapid Response/Code teams

Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility, as no local rates apply
-
RTO must be submitted with the initial application; no post-submission RTO requests accepted
