Responsibilities
- Develop and execute purchasing plans aligned with production schedules, inventory requirements, and company objectives using ERP systems such as SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle EBS, or AS400.
- Conduct direct negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, terms, and delivery schedules while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
- Analyze Excel data reports to identify cost-saving opportunities, monitor market trends, and optimize procurement strategies.
- Manage procurement processes within materials management modules to ensure accurate inventory control and supply chain continuity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including logistics, production planning, merchandising, and supply chain management to coordinate sourcing activities.
- Oversee contract negotiations and administration to ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards.
- Utilize e-commerce platforms and sourcing tools to identify new suppliers and streamline procurement workflows.
- Monitor inventory levels through supply chain management systems to prevent stockouts or excess stock while supporting production planning needs.
Skills

- Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record in direct procurement negotiations.
- Expertise in supply chain management principles including inventory control, logistics coordination, and demand planning.
- Advanced Excel data analysis skills for reporting, forecasting, and cost analysis purposes.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices in e-commerce environments and contract management processes.
- Familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to align purchasing activities with production schedules.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments such as merchandising, logistics, production planning, and sourcing teams.
