Anne Peled, MD – Breast Reconstruction, Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics
Are you someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in creating exceptional experiences?
Our plastic surgery and aesthetics practice is looking for a compassionate, highly organized Patient Experience Coordinator to join our growing team. This is much more than a traditional front desk position. You'll become an essential part of a close-knit practice where you'll build meaningful relationships with patients while helping guide them through every stage of their care.
Many of our patients come to us during significant moments in their lives. Whether they are navigating breast cancer treatment, planning reconstructive surgery, or pursuing aesthetic goals, they deserve an experience that is welcoming, organized, and compassionate from the very first phone call. We are looking for someone who shares that commitment.
What You'll Do
No two days are exactly alike. In this role, you'll help keep our practice running smoothly while providing an exceptional patient experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Welcome patients and create a warm, professional first impression.
- Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and provide outstanding customer service.
- Schedule appointments while helping maintain an efficient daily schedule.
- Support patients throughout the surgical process by assisting with scheduling, insurance coordination, prior authorizations, and communication regarding next steps.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Educate patients on our skincare products and aesthetic services while supporting retail sales.
- Work closely with the physician and Practice Manager to solve problems, improve workflows, and support the continued growth of our practice.
Who We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and genuinely enjoys helping people. You're someone who naturally notices the small details, communicates professionally, and enjoys staying busy.
You'll thrive in this role if you:
- Love creating positive experiences for others.
- Stay calm and organized while managing multiple priorities.
- Take initiative and enjoy solving problems independently.
- Communicate confidently and compassionately with patients.
- Are comfortable discussing scheduling, treatment coordination, and financial aspects of care.
- Enjoy working as part of a collaborative, supportive team.
- Are eager to learn and grow as our practice continues to expand.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
- Two or more years of experience in a medical office, plastic surgery, aesthetics, hospitality, concierge service, or another patient-focused customer service role.
- Experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations is strongly preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
