Landscaping Team Member
We’re looking for a hardworking, reliable team member who’s excited to grow with our company. As a Landscaping Team Member, you’ll be an essential part of a close-knit crew dedicated to creating and maintaining beautiful, functional outdoor spaces. You’ll work hands-on with a variety of landscaping tasks, contributing to projects that enhance the curb appeal and usability of our clients’ properties.
What You’ll Do:
- Landscape Installation: Help install trees, shrubs, flowers, mulch, rock, and other materials according to project plans.
- Lawn Care: Mow, edge, aerate, fertilize, and weed lawns to keep them healthy and neat.
- Irrigation: Assist with installing and maintaining sprinkler and drip irrigation systems.
- Hardscaping: Support the construction and maintenance of patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other features.
- Pruning & Trimming: Keep trees, shrubs, and hedges looking sharp and healthy through regular trimming and shaping.
- Planting: Plant and transplant vegetation based on landscape design requirements.
- Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain tools and equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
- Weed Control: Remove and manage weeds in flower beds, lawns, and other landscaped areas.
- Safety: Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe environment for yourself and your team.
- Client Interaction: Represent the company professionally when speaking with clients and addressing their concerns.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to complete projects on time and to high standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous landscaping experience is a plus but not required
- Familiarity with basic landscaping tools and techniques
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
- Able to follow directions and contribute positively to a team
- A valid driver’s license is preferred and may be required for some roles
Physical Requirements:
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable working outdoors in heat, cold, or rain
- Ability to bend, kneel, squat, and stand for long periods
- Confident using a variety of landscaping tools and machines
