**Job Overview** We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Banquet Server to join our team. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring the highest level of food quality and presentation. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering memorable dining experiences and have a strong background in the food industry. **Responsibilities** - Greet and serve guests in a timely and attentive manner, ensuring a warm welcome and a pleasant dining experience. - Take food and drink orders, deliver meals to the correct tables, and ensure that all dishes are served promptly and correctly. - Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including bussing tables, sweeping and mopping floors, and cleaning and sanitizing surfaces. - Provide exceptional customer service, including addressing any issues or concerns that may arise during the meal. - Assist with food preparation and presentation, including plating dishes and garnishing with fresh herbs. - Ensure that all food handling and preparation practices meet the highest standards of food safety and quality. - Collaborate with other servers and the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and efficient food delivery. - Provide help and support to other members of the restaurant team when needed. - Demonstrate a commitment to the principles of food safety and sustainability, and adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines. **Experience** - Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in a server or food service role. - Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service and work well in a fast-paced environment. - Familiarity with food preparation and presentation techniques, including knowledge of food safety practices. - Ability to lift and carry heavy trays and equipment, and to work in a physically demanding environment. - Experience with bussing tables and cleaning and sanitizing surfaces. - High school diploma or equivalent education required. **Skills** - Excellent guest relations and customer service skills. - Experience in the food industry, including food preparation, presentation, and service. - Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. - Ability to help other members of the team when needed. - Proficiency in bussing tables and cleaning and sanitizing surfaces. - Experience with culinary techniques and food handling practices. - Strong commitment to providing a positive and memorable dining experience for every guest.
