American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Surgical Oncology unit position requiring at least 1 year of RN experience, ONS/ONCC certification, and an active OK or compact RN license.

Work in the Surgical Oncology unit of a hospital setting
-
Night shift, 12-hour days, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)

13-week contract

Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)

Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
-
ONS/ONCC certification required
-
SD and MS certifications required

Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required

Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred

Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing care

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Basic computer skills required

Responsibilities include administering medications, initiating and monitoring IV infusions and blood products, documenting patient responses, and assisting physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures

Delegates tasks to support staff and coordinates patient and family education throughout the care continuum, including discharge planning

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates will not be considered

Previous travelers who have completed a contract at this facility must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible for a new contract
