Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our team at Smalls Smash Club. I need someone that has some experience in the industry and is willing to be a leader behind the bar and front counter. I am trying to find someone to groom into taking on more responsibility at the shop that can be trusted and shows initiative. Enough so that I don't have to be here everyday.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Operate cash registers, process payments, and manage tabs efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed.
- Engage with customers, providing excellent service while taking drink orders and offering recommendations.
- Monitor customer behavior to ensure compliance with legal drinking age regulations and promote responsible alcohol consumption.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bartending.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive experience for guests.
- Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume service periods effectively.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed in a vibrant setting.
