Summary
As a Personal Care Assistant at Covenant Home Care, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing compassionate and personalized care. This position is essential to our commitment to serving others and ensuring that every individual receives the support they need.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
- Monitor clients' health by checking vital signs and reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- Support clients with mobility and physical activities as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding care plans.
- Participate in training sessions and community service projects as part of our commitment to service.
Qualifications
- Experience in assisted living or home healthcare settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities or memory care needs.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and their families.
- Ability to provide patient service with compassion and respect.
- Basic understanding of behavioral health principles is a plus.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and community involvement.
