We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Montessori Teacher to inspire young learners in a vibrant, child-centered environment. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Montessori-based lesson plans that align with child development stages and curriculum standards.
- Facilitate hands-on learning activities that promote literacy, math, science, and practical life skills tailored to individual student needs.
- Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or development.
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and uphold all health and safety regulations, including first aid and CPR certifications.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary activities and support early intervention strategies for children requiring additional assistance.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, preferably within preschool or daycare environments.
- Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development stages, and Montessori methodologies.
- Experience developing curriculum content across various subjects such as literacy education, math, physical education, and social skills.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies suited for young learners.
- Strong communication skills for engaging effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Knowledge of special education practices and experience working with children requiring additional support or early intervention services is highly desirable.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing professional development in childhood development or Montessori training is preferred.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
