Skillsets & Experience
- Proven track record in industrial manufacturing sales
- Experience in manufacturing cost estimating
- Ability to identify customer needs, prepare, and present quotes
- Experience with short and medium sales cycles
- A self-starter with a strong drive to succeed
- Organized, detail-oriented approach to work assignments
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints
Preferred Skills
- Experience cost estimating in metal fabrication, steel service center, machine shop
- Familiar with processes such as welding, plate bending, plate rolling, plate cutting, and general fabrication techniques
- Familiar with ASME & AWS project requirements
- Good customer service skills and follow up
- Ability to build rapport with customers and prospects
- Good communication skills
