American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel contract in a Physical Rehabilitation unit, requiring a current California PT license and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Physical Rehabilitation unit within an acute care hospital setting

Schedule is four 10-hour shifts per week, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Patient population includes those with musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary, and/or integumentary disorders

13-week contract

Current California Physical Therapy license required; license required if applicable

Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy required

Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) required

DCI/BVP (Workplace Violence Prevention) certification required — can be completed via Relias, Healthcare Staffing Hire, or the free CDC resource

Acute care hospital experience preferred

DOB and SSN required for consideration

Responsibilities include providing medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services to restore function and prevent disability

Practice is conducted in accordance with Physical Therapy and Hospital Policy, as well as state and federal regulatory, licensing, and accrediting requirements
