Residential Staffing Coordinator
Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,100

The Residential Staffing Coordinator ensures that our Wildwood homes maintain proper staffing. The Coordinator hires, supervises, organizes, maintains & schedules the pool of Per Diem, Relief, and Floater Direct Support Professionals to provide the coverage needed and still stay within the overtime budget.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
1 year supervisory experience in setting with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
2 years of experience working in a residential setting
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Supervises the Residential department’s Per-Diem Direct Support Professional (DSP) workforce, as well as the Direct Support Professional Residential Floater staff by:
Providing feedback and corrective actions to staff as needed.
Informing staff of agency policies, procedures, and expectations for their positions.
Reviewing and approving timecards, time off requests, and expense reports.
Conducting initial and annual performance appraisals as scheduled.
Traveling to Wildwood’s residential sites, located throughout the capital region, to meet with staff as necessary.
Supports the recruitment process by:
Reviewing and interviewing Per Diem, Relief and Floater DSP candidates and updating the recruiting software throughout the hiring process
Collaborating with HR and Program Managers as appropriate.
Initiating and maintaining contact, engagement and relationships with offered candidates throughout the on-boarding process and orientation.
Reporting inconsistencies, job vacancies and scheduling concerns to Program administration and management.
Supports Management with scheduling coverage for open positions and shifts by
Collaborating with program managers within residential to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
Effectively utilizing centralized scheduling software and provides support to managers and supervisors on best practices using the software.
Securing coverage for vacant shifts to result in the reduction of overtime costs.
Monitors the usage of Overtime and Per Diem/Relief Staff Pool by
Assisting the Residential management team with workforce planning and training, observation and development of Per Diem, Relief and Floater DSP staff.
Reviewing reports on overtime and relief hours worked per pay period and investigates the causes of staff working outside of the program’s guidelines.
