Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Manufacturing Assistant to join our dynamic production team. In this vital role, you will support manufacturing operations by assisting with assembly, equipment handling, quality checks, and process improvements. Responsibilities
- Assist with assembly line operations, ensuring components are correctly assembled according to technical drawings and production documents
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments safely and accurately to support manufacturing tasks.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure precise mechanical assembly and quality standards are met
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas to uphold safety standards in production environments
- Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting solutions for lean manufacturing practices
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including heavy lifting procedures, proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and adherence to safety standards in production
Experience
- Previous factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly preferred
- Hands-on experience with forklift operation and warehouse management is advantageous
- Familiarity with measuring instruments, mechanical assembly, and technical drawing interpretation is highly preferred
- Knowledge of manufacturing management systems, process improvement methodologies, and safety standards in production environments is beneficial
- Experience working on assembly lines or with power tools demonstrates your ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in using hand tools enhances your effectiveness in supporting manufacturing tasks
