CNC Swiss Machine Operator – Day Shift
Standby Screw Machine Products is currently seeking a Day Shift CNC Swiss Machine Operator to join our company!
The Day Shift CNC Swiss Machine Operator is responsible for efficiently running production machines, maintaining good quality product, and reporting issues to their supervisor.

Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day Shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
· Berea, OH 44017: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
CNC Swiss Machine Operator - DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Runs production CNC Swiss machines
- Maintains good quality product
- Reports issues to the CNC Swiss Department Lead
- Leaves machine in good working condition; new tooling, good coolant level, etc.
- Makes tool offsets and changes to tooling when needed
- Inspects products properly
- Keeps the machine area clean, including floor, machine, and workstation
- Performs all other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- 2 years experience using CNC Swiss production machines preferred
- Able to make good decisions on which materials to use, how to solve the problem and if outside help is needed
- Able to work in a high-pressure environment and handle multi-tasks
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret company documents.
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Vocational school training on electrical principles and troubleshooting.
- At least 2 years experience in light industry or the machine tool industry.
