The purpose of this position description and job responsibilities is to serve as a general summary and overview of the variety of duties and responsibilities of the job. Therefore, flexibility to work in different warehouse departments and functions as assigned by manager is required.
A General Warehouse Associate works in multiple areas of warehouse inventory movement including picking and packing, prep line, and shipping functions. Core responsibilities are to fulfill customer orders through various inventory transactions in a timely and organized manner while consistently maintaining order accuracy, production levels and department standards.
Picking and Packing functions: Use the customer invoice to locate the necessary product by use of a PDA device. Effectively and efficiently monitor inventory, locate merchandise in racks, place merchandise into proper bins and pull merchandise when assigned.
Prep line functions: Handling materials, counting, verifying, and preparing kits per product instructions. Accountable for accuracy in counting and verification process of materials.
Shipping functions: Scanning of customer orders and merchandise, handling multiple packages and moving product in and out of production areas. Responsible for packing the orders in the best possible way to the customer with neatness and accuracy.

- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 35 pounds.
