Summary: As a Security Officer at Shannondell at Valley Forge, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our residents and staff. Responsibilities:
- Monitor premises to prevent and respond to security breaches or emergencies.
- Conduct regular patrols of the community to ensure safety and security of residents and property.
- Manage access control by monitoring entry points and verifying credentials.
- Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, or emergencies, providing first aid or CPR as needed.
- Maintain surveillance through CCTV systems, documenting any suspicious activities.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary to ensure community safety.
- Provide assistance and guidance to residents regarding safety protocols and procedures.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security or law enforcement roles is preferred.
- Strong conflict management skills to effectively handle challenging situations.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems including CCTV is an asset.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with residents and staff.
