Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer transactions accurately
- Take customer orders with enthusiasm, upsell menu items to enhance sales, and handle cash register operations with precision
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to sanitation and food safety guidelines at all times
- Manage food handling responsibilities including proper storage, portioning, and preparation techniques
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food production needs
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn
- Familiarity with food preparation, food safety management, and sanitation practices is highly advantageous
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail sales transactions, and inventory management
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment within the food industry or retail sales setting
- Knowledge of operating kitchen equipment and food handling procedures ensures safety and quality standards are met
