Job Overview
Fun atmosphere in a wine, beer and spirits store with knowledgeable co-workeers and amazing customers. Employee will be responsible for checking on suctomers, handling cash and credit card transactions, stocking shelves and tasks at hand around the store. Employee must have drivers license and clean driving record for delivery shifts. Weekends and night are a MUST, Shifts start at 2pm/4pm and end at 9pm, 10pm on the weekends. Position is available immediately. part time available 20-35 hours to start, holidays a must but rotated to be fair to all.
Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products while ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and inventory counts.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential issues.
- Assist in stocking shelves and organizing inventory as needed.
- Utilize cash registers or POS systems for transactions when necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any concerns.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of basic math for handling transactions and inventory management.
- Experience with stock management in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in using cash registers and POS systems is advantageous.
- Ability to supervise or lead a small team during busy delivery periods is a plus.
- Bilingual skills are highly valued, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
- Excellent phone etiquette for customer interactions and inquiries.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in inventory control and sales tracking.
