VetNOW Urgent Care is seeking an experienced, motivated, and compassionate Practice Manager to lead the daily operations of our fast-paced veterinary urgent care facility. This leadership role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, values exceptional client service, and is passionate about supporting both patients and veterinary teams.
Position Summary
The Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing hospital operations, team leadership, client experience, and financial performance while ensuring the highest standards of patient care and workplace culture. The ideal candidate combines strong organizational and leadership skills with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day hospital operations and workflow efficiency
- Lead, mentor, and support veterinary support staff and reception teams
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management
- Maintain high standards for client service and patient care
- Monitor scheduling, inventory, payroll, and operational budgets
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, OSHA standards, and veterinary regulations
- Collaborate with veterinarians to improve processes and team communication
- Support a positive, professional, and team-oriented workplace culture
- Monitor profitability, line item cost effectiveness and budgetary responsibilities along with strong cost effectiveness skills
Qualifications
- Previous veterinary practice management or healthcare management experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with staff supervision and team development
- Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of veterinary software (EzyVet/Smart Flow) and hospital operations is a plus
- Passion for animal care and client service excellence

Pay: $58,004.95 - $74,000.00 per year
