Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to operate various types of tow trucks, including flatbeds. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the capability to manage conflicts effectively while assisting customers in distressing situations. The Tow Truck Driver will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles and providing on-site assistance as needed.
Responsibilities
- Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional models, to transport vehicles safely.
- Load and unload vehicles with care, ensuring no damage occurs during transport.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and concerns professionally.
- Manage conflicts that may arise during towing operations with a calm demeanor.
- Maintain accurate records of services rendered and vehicle conditions.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on duty.
- Conduct routine inspections of tow truck equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Experience
- Proven 3 years of experience with tow trucks.
- Possess a medical card.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair preferred.
- Experience in conflict management and customer service is essential.
- Previous mechanic experience or automotive diagnostics training is highly desirable.
