Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our busy pediatrician’s office. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children and families and is committed to providing high-quality patient care in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Duties
- Assist pediatricians during exams and procedures
- Take and record vital signs (height, weight, temperature, blood pressure)
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain a clean, child-friendly environment
- Administer immunizations and medications under provider supervision
- Collect specimens and prepare them for lab testing
- Update and maintain accurate medical records
- Schedule appointments and assist with patient check-in/check-out
- Educate parents on care instructions and follow-up visits
- Comfort and reassure pediatric patients
Qualification
- Pediatric experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Knowledge of EMR systems a plus
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
