Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, refrigeration, and mechanical knowledge. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial HVAC systems, refrigeration systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot issues related to HVAC/R systems using schematics and diagnostic tools.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC units, including cleaning and replacing parts as needed.
- Conduct field service calls to assess and resolve equipment malfunctions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on-site.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and inquiries.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician in the HVAC/R industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics.
- Experience in construction or property maintenance is desirable.
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter.
- Knowledge of air conditioning systems and boiler or chiller operations is beneficial.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
