Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students and will collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other specialists to support students' communication and learning goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and screenings to identify students with speech and language delays or disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) in compliance with school and state guidelines.
- Provide direct therapy services individually or in groups.
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to integrate speech goals into the classroom setting.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including evaluation reports, progress notes, and service logs.
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Educate staff and families on strategies to support speech and language development.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with children in a school or pediatric setting is preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of special education laws and IEP processes
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80.00 - $85.00 per hour
