Responsibilities

- Provide personalized insurance consultations, explaining policy options for health, property casualty, and commercial insurance products.
- Negotiate policy terms and premiums with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements while adhering to insurance regulations.
- Manage sales administration tasks such as processing applications, updating client records, and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Analyze client needs using strong analysis skills to recommend appropriate coverage options that align with their goals.
- Communicate complex insurance concepts clearly and effectively in multiple languages or bilingual settings to diverse client bases.
- Support benefits administration by explaining policy benefits, coverage limits, and claims processes to customers.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations when handling sensitive health information.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote insurance products through targeted campaigns and community events.
- Provide ongoing customer service by assisting clients with policy updates, claims support, and renewal processes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing within the insurance industry or related fields.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close sales effectively while maintaining positive client relationships.
- Knowledge of property casualty, health, and commercial insurance products is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with insurance regulation standards and compliance requirements across different regions.
- Excellent communication skills—bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus—enabling effective interaction with diverse clients.
- Experience in sales administration tasks such as data entry, documentation management, and CRM systems.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess client needs accurately and recommend suitable solutions.
