Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a welcoming and professional first impression
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales through effective suggestive selling techniques
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout their visit
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff during busy hours to maintain a clean and organized environment
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, perform basic math calculations for bills, and process payments with cash or credit cards via cashiering protocols
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with Korean cuisine or fine dining settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations and order management
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to boost sales while enhancing guest satisfaction
- Experience in serving at nightclubs or hospitality venues is a plus for dynamic environments
- Basic math skills for cashiering, bill splitting, and cash handling responsibilities
- Kitchen experience or culinary background is advantageous for understanding food preparation processes
- Effective communication skills to coordinate seamlessly with team members and ensure smooth service flow
