Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Safety & Program Coordinator to lead our safety initiatives and compliance programs. This position plays a key role in creating a safe work environment while helping develop and implement programs that support our harvesting and production employees and strengthen our operations.
Duties
- Develop, implement, and oversee safety programs in accordance with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and other relevant regulations.
- Conduct food safety training for employees.
- Ensure company compliance with OSHA regulations and other applicable safety standards.
- Perform routine safety inspections and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Investigate workplace incidents and assist in developing corrective action plans.
- Develop, coordinate, and implement employee programs focused on harvesting operations and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with managers and supervisors to successfully implement new procedures and programs.
- Maintain accurate training records, safety documentation, and compliance reports.
- Promote a positive safety culture throughout the organization.
- Communicate effectively with employees at all levels and encourage participation in safety initiatives.
Requirements
- Previous experience in safety coordination, training, human resources, agriculture, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable speaking in front of groups and leading employee training sessions.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
