About the Role
As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a vital role in upholding the highest standards of precision for mission-critical components in the aerospace, defense, and medical sectors. You will leverage your expertise in GD&T and precision measurement to ensure every part meets rigorous quality benchmarks before reaching the customer.
Responsibilities-
Execute first-piece and in-process inspections on the shop floor to maintain high-precision CNC manufacturing standards.

Drive the final inspection process by verifying finished components against technical specifications and preparing comprehensive documentation packages.

Utilize advanced metrology tools, including optical comparators, thread gauges, and micrometers, to validate part integrity.

Ensure compliance with AS9100 quality management systems to maintain operational excellence.

Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot quality issues and optimize manufacturing workflows.

Manage time effectively to prioritize inspection tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Qualifications-
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a precision machine shop environment.

Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting complex engineering blueprints and GD&T.

Demonstrated ability to use standard inspection instruments such as height gauges, indicators, and calipers.

Experience managing customer-specific documentation and final inspection reporting.

Must meet U.S. Person status requirements.

Working knowledge of trigonometry for complex measurement calculations.

Experience with gage calibration systems and maintenance.

Familiarity with AS9100 standards and quality control protocols.
