Location: Organization-Provided Housing (Ocoee, Winter Garden, or Oakland - Florida)

Job Description
We are seeking compassionate, dedicated individuals or couples to join our team as Professional Foster Parent(s). In this role, you will provide a safe, stable, and nurturing home for children and teens who are seeking consistency, care, and a long-term familial connection.
This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable youth while living out faith-informed values of compassion, service, and commitment. Professional Foster Parent(s) partner with our organization to support children’s emotional, physical, educational, and spiritual development in a loving home environment.
Total compensation includes organization-provided housing, a vehicle, and all necessary furnishings to support the children in your care.
Eligible candidates may have up to two (2) biological or adopted children, either prior to or during employment.
This is a live-in position and requires residence in organization-provided housing with children placed in your care.

Minimum RequirementsEducation & Experience
- High school diploma with relevant work experience, or a college degree
- At least 25 years of age
- Experience working with children or youth is preferred (dependency or foster care experience a plus)
- Demonstrated moral character and nurturing lifestyle, supported by references
- Licensed or eligible to become licensed as foster parent(s) in the State of Florida
- Willing and able to transition into organization-provided housing
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Valid driver’s license held for a minimum of two (2) years
- (Required for transporting children and operating agency-owned vehicles)
Daily Responsibilities & Living Requirements
- Provide 24-hour care and supervision for up to six (6) children
- Maintain a structured, supportive, and welcoming home environment
- Plan, shop for, and prepare three (3) daily meals for up to ten (10) individuals
- Perform light to moderate manual tasks as needed
- Lift up to forty (40) pounds
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Follow written and verbal instructions
- Obtain and maintain First Aid and CPR certification
- Support children’s educational, emotional, and spiritual needs
Additional Expectations
- Maintain good physical and emotional health, as assessed through required evaluations and job performance
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing schedules or needs
- Manage household and home-related budgets responsibly
- Communicate regularly with organizational leadership regarding children’s well-being
- Plan and support age-appropriate extracurricular and enrichment activities
- Balance organizational responsibilities with personal and family commitments
- Plan and support meetings with children's care team members, home licensing specialists, and program volunteers
