JOB GOAL: Provide office support to the LADSE West Building & Administration

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
General

Perform the usual routines and practices associated with a busy, productive, and smoothly run office.

Multi-task a variety of duties including answering phones, staff/student questions, greeting parents/staff/visitors to the building, and managing frequent interruptions.

Assist with preparing for building meetings, teacher in-services, and other events.

Prepare and disseminate school and teacher directives/communications.

Complete daily employee attendance reports.

Communicate any ongoing issues in weekly email to the Program Coordinator/Director of Business Services. Include the Program Coordinator/Director of Business Services in any emergency communications.

Maintain student records and files as required for attendance, lunch program, and medical records.

Type correspondence, reports, and staffing confirmations, teacher, and parent mailings
- Assist with Extended School Year (ESY) registration and work as the on-site secretary during the ESY program during the summer.

Assist with state assessment coordination and reporting.

Manage Coordinator's calendar and Google Drive

Order and organize instructional materials/supplies per Program Coordinator's request.

Request and update student educational and medical information.

Perform support duties as may be assigned by the Program Coordinator/Director of Business Services and/or Executive Director.

Schedule IEP meetings and send out notification of conferences, IEP documents, and other District communications regarding students.

Complete other office tasks as assigned (e.g. copying, lamination, lunch pick up , etc.)
