Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Software and Hardware Repair Technician to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of consumer electronics and computer hardware, including smartphones, tablets and laptops and other electronic devices. Your expertise in both software troubleshooting and hardware maintenance will ensure our customers receive top-tier support and reliable device performance. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on various electronic devices, including smartphones (Android and iOS), computers (Windows and macOS), and mobile devices
- Conduct hardware repairs such as soldering components, replacing damaged parts, and performing electrical soldering on circuit boards.
- Use hand tools and schematics to troubleshoot issues related to computer hardware, consumer electronics, and operating systems.
- Maintain and repair equipment by following technical manuals, schematics, and safety procedures.
- Provide technical support for software issues related to operating systems, device drivers, and applications across multiple platforms.
- Assist customers with smartphone troubleshooting support, including connectivity issues, software updates, and hardware problems.
- Support field service activities by traveling to customer locations for on-site repairs of mobile devices, printers, or other electronic equipment when necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hardware maintenance and repair of consumer electronics such as smartphones (Android & iOS), tablets, laptops (Windows & macOS), printers, and copiers.
- Strong soldering skills with electrical soldering experience on circuit boards.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues across different operating systems and understanding of computer hardware components.
- Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and using hand tools for precise repairs.
- Excellent analysis skills to diagnose complex hardware or software problems quickly and accurately.
- Knowledge of IT support principles with the ability to assist users with smartphone troubleshooting support and general technical support tasks.
- Ability to perform field service repairs efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to customers or team members.
- Relevant certifications or training in electronics repair or IT support are a plus but not mandatory.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
