Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate, dedicated and reliable Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in various settings, including private homes, Independent/ Assisted living facilities, and Rehab centers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through attentive care and companionship. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, monitoring health conditions, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
Caregiver qualifications and responsibilities

Communicate effectively with clients, show compassion and empathy when working with clients

Be reliable, ability to follow instructions and care plans, and handle difficult situations with patience and sensitivity.

Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature

Prepare meals and assist with meal planning to ensure nutritional needs are met.

Maintain cleanliness in the living space, including laundry and light housekeeping tasks.

Assist with medication reminders as prescribed and assist with care plans tailored to individual needs.

Support clients with mobility challenges excluding the use of mechanical equipment.

Engage in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation, particularly for those with Alzheimer’s or dementia.

Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the overall well-being of clients.

Document care provided and report any changes in the client’s physical condition to supervisor.

Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive information
Requirements for CNAs and Caregivers

Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, car insurance and be willing to drive a minimum of 30 minutes to your shift.

Willingness to complete and Clear background check

Ability to use email and a mobile device.

High School Graduate
Experience
-
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred, First Aid and CPR certifications is also preferred

Previous Caregiving experience
-
Working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism.

Group home or long-term care experience is preferred.

Knowledge of first aid and CPR is essential; certification is a plus.

Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality is maintained. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a strong ability to work compassionately with seniors and individuals requiring assistance due to illness or disability while being attentive to their unique needs and preferences.
