Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your primary responsibilities will involve taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests receive outstanding service. Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, and upsell items to enhance guest experience.
- Prepare and serve food according to established sanitation standards, ensuring cleanliness at all times.
- Manage guest relations by addressing any concerns or requests promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations throughout the shift.
- Assist in training new staff members as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent guest service skills with a focus on building rapport with customers.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and sanitation practices is an advantage.
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing is beneficial.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
