Overview
Join our dynamic security team as a (Securitas Contracted) Security Site Supervisor, where your leadership and vigilance will ensure the safety and protection of our facilities, staff, and assets. In this energetic role, you will oversee daily security operations, coordinate security personnel, and implement proactive measures to prevent incidents. Duties
- Supervise daily security throughout the mall.
- 5,000 - 10,000 steps per day.
- Lead and monitor security officers and shift supervisors.
- Ensure all security personnel adhere to company policies, procedures, and performance standards.
- Conduct regular patrols and inspections of the mall, parking areas, loading docks, and common areas.
- Respond to and manage emergencies, incidents, disturbances, and security threats.
- Investigate security incidents, accidents, thefts, and suspicious activities.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate security records.
- Coordinate emergency evacuations and ensure emergency procedures are followed.
- Ensure compliance with mall security policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.
- Monitor tenant and contractor compliance with security requirements.
- Access control for restricted areas, delivery zones, and service corridors.
- Assist in crowd management during peak shopping periods, special events, and holiday seasons.
- Deliver training and coaching for security staff.
- Manage security equipment and ensure all systems remain operational.
- Complete daily and weekly reports and submit to Security Director.
- More as directed by Security Director or Assistant Security Director.
Skills
- Proven experience in security operations, law enforcement, military service or related fields
- Certified in first aid, CPR, and emergency response procedures preferred.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
- Familiarity with security protocols, access control systems, and CCTV monitoring tools
- Ability to lead a team with clear communication, motivation, and problem-solving capabilities
- Knowledge of legal regulations related to security practices and loss prevention strategies
- Microsoft Office proficient.
- Great with technology.
- Strong organization skills.
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
